HomeForm Group

The HomeForm Group is one of the largest retailers of fitted home improvement products in the United Kingdom. Its head office is in Cornbrook, Manchester. HomeForm operate under several brands, Möben Kitchens, Sharps Bedrooms and Dolphin Bathrooms as well as Kitchen Direct. It has 160 showrooms across the UK and employs over 1300 in the showrooms and over 1500 fitters and designers. Their television adverts feature the voice of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen. The HomeForm Group is affiliated with private equity firm Sun Capital Partners. HomeForm was set up under the name of Limelight by Stephen Boler, who also owned Manchester City football team and later created the Tswalu Kalahari game reserve.

In June 2011 it was announced that HomeForm had gone into administration, the company issued a statement, saying: “The board of Homeform Group have today filed with the court a notice of intention to appoint an administrator. This process can take up to ten working days. At present, the Homeform Group remains under the control of its directors. The directors are close to securing a deal that will safeguard the future of the Sharps (Bedrooms) and Kitchen Direct businesses and have mandated advisers to seek a sale of the Moben and Dolphin brands.
